Among the numerous artists participating in the festival Sound Art Museum presents: ALVIN CURRAN – DONATELLA LANDI – STEPHEN VITIELLO – ACHIM WOLLSCHEID SoundArtMuseum was created by RAM radioartemobile in Rome (2004) in order to investigate sound art through an archive, exhibitions, lectures, and other events. Sound invades the contemporary art scene and artists’ practices, triggering original, fascinating, and sometimes unforeseen combinations. The archive is active and mobile and SoundArtMuseum collaborates with institutions around the world involved with sound art. The curators of the SoundArtMuseum are Lorenzo Benedetti, independent curator; Riccardo Giagni, composer and musicologist; and Cesare Pietroiusti, visual artist.
